Important to know: There is a new address!
Don't go to the wharf! The address on google maps hasn't been updated as of December 2025.
This post office is now located inside the Co-Op across the street.

Advertised changed opening times by a bit of paper and not updating their website. Finding out that is shut after you arrive is not useful

Polite and helpful staff - yes, otherwise a place stuck in the past. Often long slow-moving queues like the Labour Exchange queues of the 1970s, also unable to accept a prepaid Track 24 package after 4.45pm even though the mail collection time from the post office is advertised as 5.00pm and the postman had not been and was nowhere in sight. Why? ‘Because we have to do the paperwork’. The post office clerk just needed to scan the items, swivel 180 degrees on her chair and put it in the sack behind her. Come on ladies - you need to up your gain!!
